| This topic was made to help with those that apply water-slide decals to clones and other minifigures.
First: Cut out the decals, as closely trimmed as possible. Second: Disassemble clone. Third: Put water in a very shallow dish. Fourth: put front body decal in water. wait 10 seconds. Fifth: Apply decal to white body. Sixth: Repeat steps 4 and 5 with arms, legs, front belt, then helmet. Seventh: Wait half-hour for decals to dry then spray with high-gloss acrylic sealant. Wait for spray to dry according to can. Be sure not to get spray on anywhere but the decal. Eighth: When dry apply back body decal, and back belt decal. Repeat steps 5-7. After a half-hour of drying, reassemble minifigure.
Post any other ideas you might have for this here. | |

| You need to have a steady hand while doing it!

| Yes, you definitely do need a steady hand. Also I forgot to include that I use tweezers to pull the decal out of the water, and I use a dish to slide the decal right off onto the leg, arm, body, etc. | |

| A friend of mine said he let's the decal dry then applies it to the parts, then sprays it. I haven't tried that though. | |

| That process sounds right T_C. Do the decals become sealed on so they look like they were factory applied? | |

| Yeah, that's what they look like, which is why water-slide is best! | |

| I got 20 sheets of water-slide paper, on Amazon.com for $4.00 because I had gift cards. The spray costs about $8.00. I got mine used. You only need a small amount of spray per guy. | |
