Happy St. Patty's Day!!!
Did you know that the tradition of pinching people not wearing green on St. Patty's Day is actually an American/Irish Superstition? According to legend, green keeps leprechauns away. Leprechauns that don't see green on St. Patty's Day pinch them! So Irish immigrants who came to the American colonies in the 1600's and the 1700's started pinching people not wearing green on St. Patrick's Day, to remind people of the leprechauns. Random fact of the day! | |
